i was supposed to do 18 miles yesterday, but had to settle for 12 because at about mile 9, my right knee felt like someone stuck a knife through it. I have never been stabbed, but i imagine thats what it would feel like.
i iced and took some advil and am just waiting it out.

What do you do when that happens? I mean, theoretically you were up to 6 miles away from your car. Or were you lucky enough to get injured near an escape route?
I do loops around the lake, so i can never be THAT far away from my car. but i still had 3 miles to go. i just kinda walked back and stopped a bunch of times to stretch. feeling a little better today, but really, WTF?
